Dr. R KARTHIK RAJA
R Karthik Raja is the General Secretary of IBA, born on November 1, 1989. An ex-Indian Navy man, he belongs originally to Kovilpatti of Tamil Nadu. Having an ancestry of a Tamil warrior clan, their family is providing martial art training for the past four generations, and runs Martial art school in Chennai.
He has been practicing the boomerang since eight years and is making efforts to promote it as a popular sport in Tamil Nadu. He has successfully formed Boomerang sport teams in 19 districts of his state, having more than 1000 members, which includes India's first women's boomerang team in Madurai
He is running India's first registered boomerang company maruthu boomerangs, having provided to all Indian throwers his maruthu boomerangs in all events.
